Studio A is 150 m², with a nine-metre cyclorama, brick and concrete walls, 4.2 m ceilings, 380 V / 32 A power, and an attached VIP lounge. Studio B is 90 m², with natural north-east daylight and a seven-metre working kitchen: a mobile island for the stylist, full appliances, utensils and dishes, and a gas cooker on request. It is one of the very few dedicated food-styling kitchens in a Shanghai rental studio. Rent either studio alone or both together across the full 525 m². The Lounge is a bar and dining space seating thirty, with a 24-metre gallery corridor for your events and exhibitions.

We rent equipment from Broncolor, Profoto, Aputure, Phase One, Canon, Fuji, Manfrotto, Apple, Eizo, and many more, all of which are well maintained and tested prior to every shoot.

For production, we handle as much or as little as you need: casting, wardrobe and food styling, hair and make-up, art direction, set building, estimates and budgeting, through a network of local and international crew. We work in English and Chinese. We work with global and local brands, agencies, and production houses shooting in China, as well as photographers and producers who need a well-run space for the day.

Studio Dare | 大胆 is at 207 Ping Liang Road in Yangpu, 100 metres from Yangshupu Road station on Metro Line 4. Two stops from Century Avenue, five minutes by taxi from the Bund. Trucks and vans park at the door, and a 2 x 2 metre goods lift serves the fourth floor, so flight cases, carts and rolled backdrops all go straight up.
